How to upscale an image

How do I upscale an image?

What is the difference between resizing and AI upscaling?

A regular resize only stretches the existing pixels, so the image gets blurry. AI upscaling adds realistic detail: edges stay sharp, textures are rebuilt and text stays readable.

Is it free?

The upscale and the before and after preview are free. Downloading the full HD image costs €1.99 per image, with a one-time payment and no subscription.

What is the maximum size?

The upscaled image can reach about 8 megapixels, for example 3200 × 2400 pixels. That is enough to print a photo in good quality up to about 27 × 20 cm (10.5 × 8 inches) at 300 DPI.

What happens to my images?

Your image is sent to our AI provider to be upscaled, then deleted automatically within an hour. It is never used for anything else.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The AI runs on our servers, so the tool works the same on any phone, tablet or computer. Upscaling takes a few seconds.
